HABITS CAN BE POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE

1. Can you identify a positive habit that you have? How can you strengthen it?

                The positive habits that I have are that I have been eating healthy and exercising halfway through the start of quarantine. Because of these small changes in my habits, my body feels so much lighter, and my strength has increased. To strengthen these positive habits, I will continue my practice of self-discipline, and I shall not stray from the path that I have made. My plan to go to MAAP and pass the physical fitness test can become my motivation so that I will not lose my purpose. Of course, even after I achieve my goal, I will continue these habits as they will have a good impact on me in the long run. I plan to live a long and healthy life, and I’m not going to let avoidable health complications stop me.

2. Can you identify a negative habit that you have? How can you change it?

               The negative habit that I have is that I have been pushing myself way too hard to finish all of my school requirements, that it has taken a toll on my mental and physical health. I know that I should take breaks, but with all the pressure coming at me, I have been losing sleep for some time now. Not only that, my legs are often getting bad cases of cramps no matter what position I sit in. This habit has greatly affected my workout regime as I often lose time and energy to do them. To change this habit, I should cut myself some slack from time to time (but not to the point where my productivity is greatly affected). After the 1st quarter of this semester, we will have a break. In this timeframe, I will enforce more lifestyle changes on how I can adapt much better to the school works the teachers will give us. With the preparation that I’m going to do, my mind and body will be able to take the brunt force for when the classes start again. Not only that, I will be able to find a more efficient way to take care of myself.
