2ND_Quarter_Week 3_Activity
Process Questions:
1. 1. After doing this activity, what have you
realized?
I realized that
for an organization to function, the cooperation of all members is necessary.
In managing events, I remember the number of mistakes we’ve made due to communication
problems. However, we managed to pull through because of the good balance of
leadership and team cooperation. Without a good leader, an organization is
bound to get thrown into disarray, but having uncooperative members will
produce the same result.
2. 2. What do you think are the characteristics
of a good leader and a good follower?
A good leader is
a person who is not only good at giving orders but is also good at listening to
their followers. He/she knows how to carefully assess situations and make
decisions while keeping an open mind of taking suggestions. Having good
communication skills is also one of the most important abilities that a good
leader must possess so that they can encourage and motivate his/her members to
do their part.
A good follower
is a person who is willing to follow directions so long as those directions are
reasonable and feasible. Having the courage to speak out about concerns
regarding questionable orders is necessary to avoid bad outcomes.
3. 3. Are you a good leader/ a good follower.
I am both a good leader and follower, but I tend to lean more towards the follower category. I do not like the thought of having too many responsibilities to bear. I am willing to help ease the burdens of my leaders by stepping up when things get too hard for them. However, I do not have enough communication skills that a good leader must possess since socializing tires me out more than I would like to admit. Following instructions and executing them properly is my forte.
