2ND_Quarter_Week 4_(Mini Survey) Activity
My Reflection
Based on the topic, I
have learned that mini-survey may help me in:
1. To have an idea to design the next stages of my
research.
2. Assessing the viability/feasibility of my
project.
3. Get a response from the respondents/participants.
4. Evaluating my projects.
I can do mini-survey
by:
1. Having a clear objective
I have to know
what I want to find out and why I want to find it. In doing so, I can figure
out the technique I can use to achieve it. After doing this, I will then ask
myself about the effects that the study will bring to the certain
discipline/field that I’m doing.
By having a clear objective, I can have a concrete plan and guide on what I can do to
achieve them. Also, having a good grasp on the possible effects it can do on
the certain field I am researching will give me the determination to accomplish
the research at a much sooner date.
2. Gathering existing data that are related
and relevant to my research as a basis for improvement
I can use
previous researches as a basis for my survey questions. I can take them apart
accordingly to create something new that will benefit my study. I can learn
from past mistakes and successes as long as I am willing to look into them.
3. Choosing the Respondents
I have to
determine whether I will use the population as a whole or a sample from the
group as my study’s respondents. I will do this by first determining the scale
of my study. If the number of the population is too high, I will then take
samples as respondents. However, if surveying the whole population is feasible
(if they are small in numbers), I will use it.
4. Developing the Questions
After taking
the previous steps into action, I will now create the questions for the
respondents. Here, I have to take into consideration the information about my
respondents. In doing so, I can write appropriate questions depending on which
context they belong to.
